I have been lucky enough to get the opportunity of working in both a big enterprise setting as well as an startup environment in my career of till date. I started my career at Goldman Sachs as a summer intern in the technology division, then joined it back as a NAPA (Technology Analyst) and had a very fruitful and engaging experience during my 2 years at Goldman. To expand my breadth in more cutting edge tech, I moved on to Kickdrum Technologies - an Austin based technology startup. I am currently located in Bengaluru working at Kickdrum India since September of 2018.

Career at Kickdrum Technologies - Sep'18 - Present
  • Have been working as a Fullstack developer, mostly especially in Java and Javascript based stacks.
  • Started with Team Secrets - a secure file sharing plugin for Jira and Gmail - working on a Java/Spring + Javascript/AngularJS + AWS RDS based stack.
  • Next project was building a themeable, configurable Internet booking engine for hotel chains for a client that supports multiple international hotel chains. An extremely UI intensive project where I worked primarily as a lead React developer.
  • Next project was building a web-based cargo booking engine for a flight aggregator client that supports multiple international flight carriers. Again, an extremely UI intensive project where I worked primarily as a lead React developer.
  • Lead the Kickdrum University which is a bootcamp program for university freshers and interns to get them up and running with developing apps in the 'Kickdrum' way.

Career at Goldman Sachs - May'15 - Jul'15 and Jun'16 - Aug'18
  • Started as an intern in the Technology division after which I recieved an offer to work full time with them.
  • Joined full time in the NAPA batch of 2016 and went through a fruitful hands on traning on fincance as well as technology fundamentals in New York.
  • Worked with 3 teams in the technology division - one was focused on delivering an effective process monitoring mechanism for the firm and the other 2 were more business centric which I can't give too much info about.
  • Got my hands dirty on a wide variety of tech stacks including proprietary as well as open source ones in both frontend and backend technologies - AngularJS, React, Java and Spring to name a few.
  • Solved some really important and engaging problems for the firm, some of them very critical from a timely delivery perspective - like building treemap views for business processes flow monitoring, building a customizable dashboarding solution which supported any datasources based on MySQL and Elasticsearch, and allowed users to create meaningful visualizations from their data on the fly during MiFID2 regulations go-live .
